Embracing God’s love for me

12.  Boldly and confidently.

Ephesians 3:12 “Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.” (NLT)

This is an incredible thought! That I can walk into God’s presence with the confidence that He will not reject me. Based on my union with Christ through His salvation, I can be bold in my requests to God, knowing that it gives Him pleasure to work in my life, making me more like Him, and giving me a significant role that He Himself has designed, for serving others.

Thought questions for myself:

Am I approaching Him boldly and with confidence?

What would this look like in my prayer life?

Would I express my feelings to God differently if I were bold?

What keeps me from exercising the privileges He has given His children?

Father, You are the creator and sustainer of the universe. I do not come before You casually, but with respect and humble worship. But I do approach You confidently as Your chosen, adopted daughter, with full rights to Your presence. I don’t deserve any of this, but I joyfully thank You for blessing me with this and every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms!  Amen.
